Christians —
Why are so many Christians I know so incredibly broken inside, and also so vocal about expressing it to others?

The trap door crashes shut, and you hear someone barring it.

I believe this does not happen for the most part on a case by case basis, but has deep cultural and historical reasons. Nor is it limited to “Christians” in a strict sense but bleeds into the western christianized culture at large to an lesser extent. Here is an excellent source on the phenomenon which is now about 1000 years old (not 2000 years old!) and definitely worth the read due to its foundational cultural implications which IHMH are seldom understood and even less often talked about: https://savingparadise.net/about/index.html
Thanks! =)
