Instagram is horrible for artists. We pour our hearts and time into posting absolutely breathtaking content full of emotion and humanity, and the platform forces our followers to simply comment, like, and scroll on.

Where’s the REAL engagement? The meaningful dialog, the long lasting conversations, the building of genuine human connection?

The design perpetuates the idea that we must post content that in essence are bite-sized morsels of hyper-concentrated high fructose serotonin, each one fading out of existence forever as soon as it rolls off the screen and out of our attention span, leaving us endlessly craving another hit from the next in line.

This is not social networking, it’s fucking disgusting.
